I really need it.
I have rarely looked in my treasurer box in the past five years while finally trying to enjoy life but lacking in the funds to more than 'get by.'
The pretty bracelet I won at at auction was going to be a Christmas gift for one of my young daughters. While a unique and now collectible item... I was afraid someone would think it 'real gold' and the child would not be able to get it off their wrist to surrender it to the perpetrator ... we lived in New York.
This pretty bracelet was stored in my 'treasurer box' and now it is being offered for sale. The Love Bracelet made in 1970 with Cartier's permission ... designed by Aldo Cipull0 and used as a premium by Charles Revson ... Made in England it is a quality Gold Electroplate ... selling on Ebay for over $500 in some auctions ... I am going to sell it for less and cross my fingers that someone will want to purchase it as a vintage collectors item or will enjoy wearing it.

Along with the other treasures in my box were a few things that belonged to my father. My Mom had sent me odds and ends some twenty years ago to see if I could get any money for them. Anything of real sentimental value was kept and passed on to grandchildren. I remember some of the tie tacks and tie clips but they are now Vintage finds put up for sale for someone else who would enjoy having them.
All things must Change ... I will fill my Treasure Box with new things that please me ... a drawing from a grandchild, a sea shell from the beach, a tag for a newly planted rose bush bought on sale .... but I won't hang on to things that could be turned into financing my .... living .....
I hope my past treasures turn into treasures for someone else ......
